Instructions for Using Goldzherbs Pure Chocolate Flavored Coffee:
Brewing with a Phin Filter:
Step 1: Add 25g (about 3 coffee spoons) of coffee grounds to the phin filter and spread them evenly, pressing down lightly.Step 2: Pour 40ml of boiling water into the phin and wait 2 minutes for the grounds to bloom.Step 3: Pour an additional 40ml of water, then cover the phin with the lid and let the coffee drip slowly.Step 4: Add milk or sugar, ice, and enjoy.
Brewing with an Espresso Machine:
Step 1: Turn on the machine 20-30 minutes before brewing to heat the water in the boiler. Check the temperature gauge to make sure it’s between 85-92 degrees Celsius, and the pressure should be around 8.3-9.3 bar.Step 2: Add 7-9g of coffee grounds to the portafilter, level them off, and then use the tamper to compress the grounds with moderate pressure.Step 3: Run water through the group head for 3-5 seconds to clean it and stabilize the water temperature, then insert the portafilter into the machine.Step 4: Place a cup under the machine, start the brewing process, and wait for the coffee to be extracted into the cup.
- An Espresso shot (30-35ml) will take about 25-30 seconds to brew.
- Iced Coffee (with milk): Add 2 teaspoons of condensed milk or sugar to the Espresso shot, or adjust to your taste, and stir well.
Wait for the coffee to cool slightly, or put the cup in the refrigerator for 1-2 minutes before adding ice and enjoying. Brewing this way results in coffee that’s around 90 degrees Celsius, so adding ice immediately will cause it to melt quickly, affecting the flavor of the pure coffee.
